“SEE and KNOW” was started in San Angelo, Texas in the mid 1960’s by Lois “Butch” Whitaker and Dan Whitaker. She was the author, composer, and illustrator of “SEE and KNOW.” DLW Publishing and Supply LLC was established several years later in order to make Bible School Material available for teachers and parents of 0 months to 24 months old children. “SEE and KNOW” is Biblical procedures, procedures, and materials for helping infants and young children see the wonders of God's creation, know that God made them and loves them, know who they are, and what God's plan is for them.

“SEE and KNOW” got its name from Isaiah 41:20 "...that they may SEE and KNOW and consider and understand together, that the hand of the Lord hath done this, and the Holy One of Israel hath created it." DLW Publishing and Supply was named after the founders of the company, Dan and Lois Whitaker. This is a family business that has been passed down to their daughter Debbie Whitaker. She is working on digitizing the illustrations and other materials.
